3 Disney World Restaurants We’re Most Excited To Try In 2026
Now that we’ve been to Disney World a few times, we certainly have our favourites when it comes to restaurants.
We’ve probably eaten at the Yachtsman Steakhouse a dozen times now, and Topolino’s has joined it more recently as a must-do signature dining experience while we’re in town.
However, we do want to keep adding new experiences to our stays, and in trying new restaurants, we can recommend more options to you guys in our videos.
So, this is my shortlist of restaurants that we’ve not yet eaten at, which I am dedicating us to trying in 2026.
Disney’s Trattoria Al Forno restaurant at Disney’s Boardwalk resort.
Flying Fish - Disney’s Boardwalk
You guys will know how much we love the Boardwalk, and this is the first of two restaurants that we have yet to try in one of Disney World’s most scenic locations.
The Boardwalk is a beautiful way to spend a quiet afternoon, but it’s even better in the evenings. You can see the Epcot ball over the treeline, catch the park’s fireworks across the water, and the Boardwalk itself offers a long list of quick-service eats and restaurants.
One of those is Flying Fish, a seafood and steak restaurant on a prime piece of real estate right on the Boardwalk. Hannah is a seafood fan, and she’s wanted to go for a while. So this is the year.
The restaurant is very accommodating for parties like ours, with one seafood fan and one who, well, isn’t.
Dishes like the ash-crusted salmon, Chilean sea bass and seafood ‘frutti di mare’ all look sensational (if you’re into that kind of thing), but there’s also a filet mignon and a New York strip that’s more my lane.
Flying Fish is a signature dining restaurant, so you’re looking at a similar price range as places like Topolino’s and the Yachtsman, typically around $75-80 per person for the meal plus tip.
The ambience of the restaurant looks amazing, and the location is ideal. We’ve come very close to trying it in the past, but 2026 is the year.
2. Trattoria Al forno - Disney’s Boardwalk
Trattoria al Forno is basically two doors down from Flying Fish, in the exact same location on the Boardwalk.
It’s an Italian, with a little more of a casual vibe than some of the signature dining restaurants. It also comes in cheaper, ranging from $29 to $41 for an entree.
The real reason we want to try this restaurant is that we were told by a cast member at the Riviera that the food is incredible. They also told us that it’s the same chef who runs both Trattoria and Topolino’s, and that was the kicker, because the food at Topolino’s is superb.
So this is one that we’ve just got to try, and we’ll report back.
You can check out their menu here.
Plus, I feel like Italian’s are few and far between on Disney property. I’m not sure why, we just don’t seem to eat much pasta when we’re there?
Maybe that’s just me!
This is the vlog in which we went to Topolino’s for breakfast, and were then told we HAD to try Trattoria!
3. Steakhouse 71 - Disney’s Contemporary resort
This one has somehow evaded me for years. I genuinely believe that a large part of the reason we haven’t tried Steakhouse 71, or even Le Cellier in Epcot, is because we know we’re going to get a great experience at the Yachtsman.
It’s kind of torn us away from trying other steak restaurants on property, but I’m determined to change that this year.
Steakhouse 71 is located on the ground floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and you can go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Steak and eggs for breakfast at $21 seems pretty good. Maybe we’ll try that?
Or a 7oz filet for dinner at $48, maybe? Anyway, here’s the menu!
I like that they also serve a flight of sauces for $6, so you can dip your meat in any and all of them. That’s a nice touch, even though I have no idea what ‘Au Poivre’ is…
Steakhouse 71, we’re coming for you this year, finally.
